How do I register online to order books?
Once you have set up your account, the next time you visit The Cookery Book you can simply log in with you email address and chosen password and you are ready to shop!

How do I become a wholesale customer?
We currently supply numerous cookery and health stores as well as food and beverage accounts with a selection of titles from our extensive range of books to sell in their stores. We also offer terms for corporate sales.

Do you offer industry discounts?
Ask about our Chefs VIP Card which entitles Chefs to a Chefs Discount on ALL books.

What are my options when purchasing books from The Cookery Book?
There are several options to purchasing books advertised on The Cookery Book website:
1. Online
Log in by entering your details or create an account. Add the particular titles and quantities into your online cart and proceed via the prompts to the online check out. MasterCard Visa and American Express are accepted. EFTPOS also accepted. Or in-store pick up and payment is available also. We can also arrange direct deposit.
If you are not comfortable with placing personal data on the internet you still have two options:

Send a detailed email with title information, quantities and other contact information to cookerybook@cookerybook.com.au. We will endeavour to reply within 24 hours.
3. Phone
Call The Cookery Book on +61 2 9967 8211 for one of our representatives to take your order and sort out the payment options over the phone

What is your refund policy on damaged books?

Do you offer gift certificates?
The Cookery Book offers Gift Certificates that can be send by mail or electronically. You can order your Gift Certificate by phone OR you can order online with amounts of $25, $50, $100, $150 $200., $250 and $500. You can also call and select your own denomination by phone.
Our specially printed Gift Certificates are mailed in a black envelope with a Cookery Book Information Brochure.
There are abbreviations that appear alongside some book titles, such as 'hb', 'pb' and 'ops'. What do these mean?
The abbreviations used alongside some book titles are indicators of the publication editions and stock levels. This assists both the customers and employees.
These abbreviations are:
pb: paperback edition
hb: hardback edition or hc hardcover edition
ops: title is available in-store but has been declared out of print (OPT)
rrp: recommended retail price
edn: edition
ISBN: International Standard Book Number

These includes aprons, tea towels, handwash, soaps, candles, cook book holders, recipe journals, gift cards and stationery, childrens gifts, puzzles and assorted items. We also carry a range of food items. Baskets are also available for make your own basket with book OR set basket ranges instore.
